主讲人介绍

Steve Li. Assistant Professor, Extension Specialist (weed science)

BS: China Agricultural University

MS: Auburn University

PhD: University of Georgia

His research program studies：

1) herbicide resistant and problematic weed control in major row crops

2) herbicide injury on row crops and vegetables

3) dicamba drift, volatility and off-target injury on sensitive crops

4) cover crop usagein row crops and vegetables

His extension programs focus on educating Alabama farmers with latest information to control herbicide resistant pigweed, horseweed, tropical spiderwort and other weeds. He also conduct multiple trainings each year with farmers to update them with dicamba label changes and best management practices to avoid herbicide drift.
