多倍体小麦复杂基因组解析与种质资源演化。
目前以小麦为研究对象,结合生物信息学、基因组学、人工智能等手段,围绕作物多组学大数据整合与挖掘、小麦基因组变异与演化规律解析、小麦种质资源构成与优异基因利用等问题,开展一系列原创性研究。
主要研究包括三个层面:(1)结合小麦多组学数据进行研究,回答多倍体小麦的驯化与育种选择、种质资源构成与演变、复杂基因调控网络等方面的科学问题;(2)针对小麦的复杂基因组解析和海量组学数据整合问题,结合算法和统计学模型,设计和开发新的生物信息学计算工具;(3)对小麦的基因组、转录组、表观组和泛基因组的海量数据进行整合分析,搭建数据可视化平台,旨在提高小麦多组学研究效率。
近年来,在西藏半野生小麦基因组组装与起源演化、作物泛基因组同源基因推断、基因组海量变异数据整合、小麦种质资源的基因组学网络解析、栽培四倍体-六倍体小麦起源与驯化等方向取得了一系列进展。已开发的原创算法和工具包括:BS-Seeker2(2013)、CGmapTools(2018)、SnpHub(2020)、GeneTribe(2020)、ggComp(2022)、IntroBlocker(2022);已搭建的小麦基因组学数据库包括:Wheat-SnpHub-Portal(2020)、WheatUnion(2020)、Triticeae-GeneTribe/TGT(2020)、WheatCompDB(2022)。
